How To Use The Project Manager

When you register as a MFP member you can take advantage of a useful tool. The project manager enables you to quickly save tracks for future references for yourself or to share with others. Here's a step-by-step tutorial on how work with projects and the project manager.


Working with projects

How to add a song to your active project

  1. Log in with your user name and password;
  2. Search for any tracks on the site;
  3. Click on the name of the song or the "save/download" link below the speaker or the song's title;
  4. Click on at the top right of the window;
  5. The song is automatically saved and appears on the page in the right column under "Songs".

Repeat step 3 and 4 to save additional songs to your active project. To have access to all songs saved simply click on "My Music Project" or your active project title.

How to email a project song list to a co-worker, yourself or MFP

  1. Click on "My Music Project" (or your active project title);
  2. Enter the receiver's email address;
  3. Click on the "email" tab next to the receiver's email address.

Note that if you send the project to a co-worker they will need your User Name and Password to access the site, or be a registered user themselves.

How to delete a song from a project

  1. Click on "My Music Project" (or your active project title);
  2. Click on "Delete" on the appropriate song row;
  3. Confirm the delete the song.

Managing projects

How to add a new project

Adding another project is useful when you are working on more than one production. It enables you to save different tracks on different projects.

  1. Click on "Manage" at the bottom of the project manager module;
  2. Click on "Add" at the bottom of the projects list;
  3. Fill out the necessary information;
  4. Save your new project.

How to make a project the active project

  1. Click on "Manage" at the bottom of the project manager module;
  2. Click on "Select" in the appropriate project row.

How to delete a project

  1. Click on "Manage" at the bottom of the project manager module;
  2. Click on "Delete" in the appropriate project row;
  3. Confirm the delete in the project.

How to edit a project information

  1. Click on "Manage" at the bottom of the project manager module;
  2. Click on "Info" in the appropriate project row.

How to view the songs associated with a project

  1. Click on "Manage" at the bottom of the project manager module;
  2. Click on "Songs" in the appropriate project row.

Quick Tutorial On Using The Online Reporting System With The Project Manager

A) How To Save Tracks To Your Project Folder

1- Login with user name and password

2- Go to "add" in "All Project" in the right column on the home page

3- Write the name of your production in the "Project's title" box

4- Browse the site, click on save/download when you find a track suitable for your project

5- A new page opens. Click on "add this song to my active project"

(Once you saved tracks in your project folder you can download the tracks and used them in your production.)

B) How To Request a Clearance

1- Click On "License application" in your active project. (right column on home page)

2- Follow step one to step three and click on "review clearance request"

3- Click on Send request
